Thompson Continues the Climb All the Way to a Tie for 16th (and a PGA Tour Card)!!!

Michael Thompson continued his upward momentum at Q-School to finish in a tie for 16th which earns him a 2011 PGA Tour card! Michael says he's "been dreaming of making the PGA Tour since he was seven". Now the dream is realized. Via Twitter Michael said:

I did it! I earned my way to the PGA Tour! Thank you everybody for all of your support! Time to represent Bama on the big tour!

Michael's steady performance over the final five rounds vaulted him from a tie for 97th after the first round all the way into a tie for 16th. Here's how it went down:

Round 1: T-97
Round 2: T-75
Round 3: T-48
Round 4: T-27
Round 5: T-22
Round 6: T-16
