Thomopson in the Lead After 1st Round

Michael is currently tied for the lead at the Savannah Lakes Village Classic after posting a -7 in the first round. This is an important tournament because it has the largest purse for the Hooters Tour 2010 season.

First Top 5 of The 2010 Season

Michael tied for 5th at the shortened-due-to-rain Crystal Lake Open. He scored a -6 in his final round to finish at -12 for 3 rounds.

Top 25 Here He Comes

The second round is underway at the Crystal Lake Open. Michael finished at -6 after two rounds and will probably finish somewhere in the top 25 after all the scores are finished coming in.

Someone's Getting Married!

While the Hooters Tour took a several week break, Michael posted on his Facebook account that he and his long-time girlfriend, Rachel had gotten engaged. His younger brother Zach also got engaged about two weeks prior to that. Congratulations to both Thompson boys, Michael and Zach!

Not Quite Breaking Even

Michael finished T65 at the Georgia Sports Orthopedic Specialists Classic earning $938.
