Michael Thompson continued his PGA Tour streak of strong opening rounds in Detroit on Thursday at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. He shot a three under par 69 that has him tied for 46th. He had plenty of birdie opportunities on the day. As it was, he was able to card five birdies against two bogeys.
Michael will be playing tomorrow morning with Arjun Atwal and Matt Jones. They tee off at 8:05am ET from the tenth hole.
