After two great rounds at the Sony Open in Hawaii, Michael Thompson sits in
solo fourth place at ten under par heading into the weekend. Michael
carded a seven under par 63 on Thursday and a three under par 67 on
Friday. His round on Friday was highlighted by his scrambling and he
avoided carding a single bogey despite some errant tee shots.
For Saturday's third round, he will be paired with Matt Kuchar in the
penultimate group. They tee off at 1:30pm Hawaii time (3:30pm
PT).
