Tonight's episode of In Play with Jimmy Roberts on the Golf Channel will have a story on the trip Michael Thompson and his wife Rachel took to Israel last year during their off-season. You may remember that they traveled with a group of professional athletes including Hunter Mahan, Sean Foley, and Amy Alcott to help promote golf in a country with only one golf course and dialog between Israeli and Palestinian children. Unfortunately, rocket attacks cut the trip short.

Odd piece for the Golf Channel. It is my understanding that a large majority of U.N. member states have come to some very substantial agreements concerning how peace between the Israelis and Palestinians might be achieved. However, the U.S. and Israel have blocked the majority's recommendations. Also, if I weren't aware of what Palestinians have to put up with because of the Israeli government, this episode of In Play wouldn't look like so much propaganda.
