After missing a short par putt on his last hole yesterday and bogeying two of his first four holes today, Michael Thompson found himself four shots on the wrong side of the cut at the Wyndham Championship. From that point on, however, Michael kicked his game into a whole new gear. He got a bounce bag birdie on the fifth hole and then managed a string of five straight pars. He then went on a birdie barrage during his back nine when he birdied five of his final eight holes. He finished the day at four under par and is tied for 36th.
Michael will be paired with Jason Allred during Saturday's moving day round. They tee off at 11:17am ET.
