This week, Michael Thompson is playing at the Zurich Classic in New Orleans, Louisiana. As many of you know, Michael played at Tulane in New Orleans for the first several years of college. After hurricane Katrina, the men's golf program was disbanded and Michael transferred to the University of Alabama, where he finished out his colleg golf career.
Michael will be teeing off at 12:30 local time and will be in a "Featured Group" including Ernie Els and Rickie Fowler. He may get some tv time as a result, so make sure to tune in.
