Michael Thompson, the 2010 NGA/Hooters Tour Player of the Year, continued his solid play at Q-School, touring Panther Lake in just 69 strokes. The former Alabama University linkster’s 2-under 69 was his third sub-70 round in a row—and bit adventurous. Thompson, who will start the final round T22, finished the day with eight pars, six birdies and four bogeys in the blustery conditions.
